Dr. Curtis Rogers discusses recording audiobooks for the State Library's Talking Book Services program and more with Ella Rescigno and Ellen Dunn. Ella is a 17-year-old singer and actor who lives in Columbia, SC, and among her many interests and projects, volunteers at the South Carolina State Library in the Talking Book Services department recording audiobooks. Also joining us is Ellen Dunn who is the Library's Public Information Coordinator and helps record audiobooks as well as offers the Library's Tail Waggin' Tutors program.

In part 3 of a three-part series, Dr. Curtis Rogers discusses assistive technology with Nancy Irwin. Nancy is from Columbia South Carolina and works for the state’s School for the Deaf and the Blind in their Division of Outreach Services as the Access Technology Specialist. Prior to working for the school, she was the JAWS Instructor for the SC Commission for the Blind. She also has a degree in Theater Technical Design from Winthrop University. She and her husband Billy have four guide dogs at home. Two are retired and two are active working guides.

In part 2 of a three-part series, Dr. Curtis Rogers discusses assistive technology with Dr. Carol Page. Dr. Page is the Program Director of the South Carolina Assistive Technology Program at the USC School of Medicine. She received her Ph.D. in speech-language pathology from the University of South Carolina, an Assistive Technology Professional certificate from the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America, and a Brain Injury Specialist certification from the Brain Injury Association of America. In addition, she is an Adjunct Faculty member for the University of South Carolina Communication Sciences and Disorders department. She also works closely with the USC School of Medicine Center for Disability Resources and has received a Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disorders (LEND) grant.
