Dr. Curtis Rogers discusses recording audiobooks for the State Library's Talking Book Services program and more with Ella Rescigno and Ellen Dunn. Ella is a 17-year-old singer and actor who lives in Columbia, SC, and among her many interests and projects, volunteers at the South Carolina State Library in the Talking Book Services department recording audiobooks. Also joining us is Ellen Dunn who is the Library's Public Information Coordinator and helps record audiobooks as well as offers the Library's Tail Waggin' Tutors program.

Dr. Curtis Rogers discusses Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) in libraries and much more with Dr. Nicole Cooke. Dr. Cooke is the Augusta Baker Endowed Chair and Associate Professor at the University of South Carolina’s School of Library and Information Science. Her research and teaching interests include human information behavior, critical cultural information studies, and diversity and social justice in librarianship.

Frank Baker is a media literacy advocate who has published five books on the topic for parents, educators, and students. In this episode, he shares his early history with media and how he became interested in taking a critical look at how stories are told. He also gives a few suggestions for encouraging media literacy in younger generations of students.
