Chris is the Upstate Regional Coordinator for the SC Digital Library and is also the Head of Library Technology at Clemson University Libraries and Rick is the Upstate Regional Co-Coordinator and is also Manager of the Digital Collections Center at Furman University’s James B. Duke Library.

Dr. Curtis Rogers learns all about the NEDCC with preservation specialist, Sean Ferguson. Sean works from his home office in Alexandria, Virginia, for the Northeast Document Conservation Center and provides preservation information and outreach to clients nationwide, including assessments, consultations, training programs, and disaster assistance. From July 2018-June 2019, he served as NEDCC’s Performing Arts Readiness Emergency Preparedness Consultant for New England, providing emergency preparedness consultations and training to performing arts organizations. Dr. Curtis Rogers discusses the Colin J. McRae Papers, Huse Audit Series digitization project with Dr. Fritz Hamer. Dr. Hamer is the curator of history and archivist at the SC Confederate Relic Room and Military Museum and previously held posts at the SC State Museum and the South Caroliniana Library at the University of South Carolina. He has published articles on the social and racial impact of World War II in Charleston and on the South Carolina home front in World War I and has published books on the Charleston Navy Yard, SC in the Great War, and on SC College Football History. He served as president of the SC Historical Association from 2001 to 2002 and 2011 to 2012.
